About the Park:
Eden Gardens State Park is a scenic spot in South Walton, Florida, located bayside in Point Washington, just north of Highway 98 via County Road 395. The park is open every day from 8 AM to sunset.

Take a guided tour of the historic Wesley House, offered hourly from Thursday to Monday. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the beautiful gardens, picnic areas, and grounds daily. The Friends of Eden group also runs a small gift shop and sells plants like camellias and other ornamentals.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Celebrate Independence Day early at the Star-Spangled Food Truck Festival on Wednesday, July 3, starting at 5 PM. Enjoy a variety of tasty food from local food trucks, from Thai dishes to grilled cheese and more.

Visit AJ’s greeting table for a free flag, bottled water, or some fun AJ’s swag. The parade starts at 8:30 AM near The Red Bar—so come early, join the fun, and head back to AJ’s afterward for music, brunch, and celebration!
Each band will perform songs from different genres, judged by a panel of Grammy-winning guests. Two lucky attendees will be randomly chosen to join the judging panel!

This event kicks off the fun leading up to DwightFest on September 21, 2025—a nonprofit festival supporting those who help make our community great.
Join Shore Thing Cigars on Saturday for a night of live music starting at 6 PM, featuring Grammy-winning songwriters—and maybe even a surprise guest or two. The celebration runs until 10 PM, with happy hour from 5–7 PM.

Keep Walton County Beautiful (KWCB) invites local neighborhoods to join the Post–Fourth of July Cleanup on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6. This is a great way to bring your community together, show pride in your area, and help protect the environment.
When you sign up to host a cleanup, KWCB will provide:
All supplies (trash bags, gloves, grabbers, etc.)
Promotional items (t-shirts, social media graphics, etc.)
Promotion of your event on our website and social media
What we ask from you:
Hold your cleanup on July 5 or 6 at a public or neighborhood beach access
Send us a short recap after the event (volunteer count, amount of trash collected, and a few photos)
Sign up by June 23: Fill out the Neighborhood Cleanup Form on our website.
(If using a public beach access, select it from the dropdown. If using your neighborhood’s private access, you can skip that part.)
