Kaiya was designed to be intimate, not to serve the masses. The roughly 26-acre community is a walkable landscape with footpaths and bike trails. Although shopping and dining are found here, Kaiya was not created as a town. Instead, it was made as a resort-style home base, a respite that allows you to take a breath and restore your sense of calm. Residents occasionally leave this idyllic place for services or entertainment venues not found on the property. Fortunately, commercial activity along 30A is a short drive away.

A short drive from Kaiya is the Alys Beach community. George’s At Alys Beach serves delicious American coastal fare. It is first-come, first-serve at this famous little eatery. About a block down the road is The Citizen, which also serves savory American cuisine.

 

Shortly past Alys is Rosemary Beach and home of the Pearl Hotel. Inside lies the Havana Beach Bar & Grill. People rave about the food and the Hemingway-esque ambiance. Not far past the Pearl is Cuvee 30A. Famed Chef Creehan serves his signature dishes that are sure to please.
