Miramar Beach (Bay Side)

This ideal combination of ocean and bay paired with the subtropical climate makes it an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.

Welcome to Miramar Beach (Bay Side)

Unique waterscapes and a premier lifestyle

Miramar Beach is a vibrant community between Destin, Florida, and Santa Rosa Beach. The Gulf of Mexico borders Miramar to the south and Choctawhatchee Bay to the north. This ideal combination of ocean and bay paired with the subtropical climate makes Miramar an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.

As you stroll along the powder white sand, you can see people on jet skis speeding across the crystal clear water of the Gulf while others glide high above the surf on a parasailing adventure. Most lounge underneath giant umbrellas, enjoying the sights, sounds, and ocean breeze. However, the beach is just part of the story; there is much more to Miramar.

There are several award-winning fairways, golf and tennis resorts, and plenty of places for anglers to cast a line. Boaters can chart a course for the Gulf or the Bay. They will find that Legendary Marina, offering dry storage and more, is only about five miles away.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf overlooks Choctawhatchee Bay and offers day and evening activities. There are boutiques, restaurants, concerts, and festivals, among other things. You can charter a boat there or fish in the onsite lagoon. In addition to the Wharf's festivities, the city works hard to bring people together and foster a sense of community. It hosts events like the farmers’ market in the summer and fireworks at the beach to ring in the new year.

Homes in Miramar are varied in style and property type. There are spacious condominiums, charming cottages, and expansive waterfront villas. Many neighborhoods are gated communities offering amenities like pools and fitness centers. Depending on a home's location, a few even have private beach access or docks. While some people choose to live near the Gulf, many prefer the bay. Regardless of which camp you find yourself in, you can rest assured that you will still be close to everything and that you have finally found a place to call home.
