Meet Mari Authement

Mari Authement brings a rare combination of deep operational expertise and a lifelong love of the Emerald Coast to her role as Operations Manager at The Richards Group. With over 25 years of experience leading operations, managing high-profile client relationships, and representing leadership across business, nonprofit, and financial sectors, Mari is a steady force behind the scenes that helps keep the team running at its best.

A University of Tennessee marketing graduate, Mari's professional journey has spanned founding and running her own businesses, producing large-scale live events, directing restaurant and catering operations, and serving as a community leader — earning recognition as a 2023 City of Lakeland, TN Ambassador and Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Community Partner of the Year.

But her connection to this coast runs far deeper than her resume. Mari has been vacationing on these shores since the 1980s, has family rooted here for over two decades, and has returned time and again — for the beaches, for the community, and for the 30A Songwriters Festival, where her love of live music has brought her back as both an attendee and a volunteer. When the time came to plant permanent roots, there was never any question about where home would be. She relocated to Miramar Beach in 2024 and hasn't looked back.
